My old employer tells the RIAA to pay them for wasting the University's time... HA HA HA. Go UNL!!

Wear green tomorrow..
Saint Patrick's Day is tomorrow.
I'm going to be building Carson's birthday present... a swing set/playset. We'll see about getting some pics of that up here afterwards. Afterwards we're going over to a friend's place for some celebrating, should be a good time.
I got my new PC! It's huge, I have named it BEAST. LOL Check out the pics.
Next to a normal PC.
It's nearly as big as my son.
The color LEDs on the front and back are able to be changed in the BIOS... I went with blue.

The Ides of March

The Ides of March
Carson and I hung out yesterday and had a good time. We went to two different parks and generally just had a lot of fun in the really nice weather (I wore shorts!). Here's some pics I snapped.
My new computer should be here today... oh yea, I said OH YEA.

Generally speaking, a term from the ancient Roman calendar. The Ides fell on the 15th day of March, May, July, or October or the 13th day of any other month.[1] Thus the Ides of March was the 15th day of March.
Specifically, the term is best known because Julius Caesar was assassinated on the Ides of March in 44 BC.

No Wednesday post...
Sorry to disappoint (HA).. but I most likely will not be making a post tomorrow. I'm taking the day off of work to hang out with Carson (he's on Spring Break from Daycare) and I will most likely be no where near a computer. So this Tuesday, late evening edition, will have to hold you over until Thursday.
So Windows Server 2003 released Service Pack 2... As always, install this on a test server first and test it before putting it on your production servers.
So the US Government is going to give out coupons to people to help with the adoption of HDTV... that's ok I guess, as long as they actually do the switch. Hasn't it already been pushed back twice? Not that I'm overly excited at the possibility of them spending 1.5 billion dollars to help make sure everyone can receive TV signals but if they can verify the people they are giving the money to are paying taxes I have no problem.
