Vista launches, Woot-Off in progress

Microsoft's commercial launch of Windows Vista is today... Win yourself a copy of the Ultimate edition here. I've been using the Enterprise version for a few months and it's pretty nice if you have the hardware to take advantage of you. Looks like Yahoo's widgets will play nice as well.

Might put up some more later, as news releases roll in.

In case I haven't mentioned it, I am in the Alpha of Trillian Astra. I joined in at build 26 and we are now at build 28. I'm really liking the direction they are going and the second build is a lot more stable and had new features added. I have been dabbling in beta testing a lot lately and it's been really fun. Here's a shot of my desktop with Trillian running and 4 chat containers with 9 chat buddies in them.

Orange you glad I finally made a new post?

That's right folks, I'm back... been swamped lately so there hasn't been much time for posting. Here's something we were doing:

Now you get the title, hah. It still needs some accessories for the walls but I think it is a really neat color and we had a lot of fun putting it up. I wish I had a more wide-angle lens on my camera because depending on the angle it looks brighter/darker in the photos. The actual color is somewhere in between. heh

Carson, my dad, and I went to a Harlem Globetrotters game today.. Carson had an absolute blast and it was a really great show.

COLTS WIN!!!!!

Wow.. what a game. I was on the edge of my seat the whole game. Defense stepped up AGAIN!!! And number 4 was an awesome off-season pickup.

Saints just won too, cool feel good story with those guys.

Want to go to the Superbowl? Colts are giving away tickets. Also I added a Colts flash thing at the bottom of my blog, check it out it's pretty cool.

Carson loved his first swim lesson. It's just him in the pool with a teacher (who is watching up to three other kids) so he's learning that listening is important. Today was pretty much just a skill check to see what each kid can do but Carson still loved it. I hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Here comes the weekend

Man, it feels like this has been the longest week all year... oh, wait. :) Carson starts his swimming class tomorrow and he is really excited. Mom made some chocolate cake and brought it over last night, was delicious.
